Question 1: How will you set the new post?
Each new post is set 24 inches deep, in line with USPS guidelines. The hole is backfilled with compacted gravel to prevent leaning This method provides a strong, long-lasting foundation while remaining fully compliant with USPS standards (which restrict solid concrete encasements). For more detailed information please refer to federal and local regulations.
Question 2: Do you set to USPS specs?
Absolutely. We set the mailbox 41–45 in from road surface to the bottom of the box and 6–8 in back from the curb, with the house numbers clearly visible.
Question 3: Do you use the right lumber and hardware for outdoors?
Yes—ground-contact pressure-treated posts (or cedar with proper base/sleeve) and hot-dip galvanized or stainless fasteners to resist corrosion.
Question 4: Are you insured / Do you warranty installs?
Yes! We’re fully insured, and every install is backed by a 1-year workmanship warranty. This covers any workmanship issues outside of normal weathering. Materials are covered under their manufacturer warranties. While impacts (such as vehicles or snowplows) and vandalism aren’t included, we’re always available to help with fast, reliable repairs if those situations arise.
